At Jocelyn Balloons, we specialize in crafting jaw-dropping balloon art—and our latest project at ITEX 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was no exception. We built a giant balloon hot air balloon sculpture entirely by hand in just 12 hours for the Russia Pavilion’s “MADE IN MOSCOW” showcase.

💡 Why It Stands Out
This wasn’t just another hot air balloon. This was a full-blown, custom-built hot air balloon sculpture that rose over 5 meters in height.
It was designed to draw attention from every corner of the exhibition hall with its illuminated signage and realistic structure.
Over 2,000 red balloons were meticulously attached to a custom metal frame layered with protective netting. Each balloon was hand-inflated and secured, forming the massive ‘envelope’ and balloon basket.
From the curvature of the balloon body to the reinforced basket corners, we carefully measured and planned every detail. Most importantly, we did it all within 12 hours. No second wasted. No corner cut.

🔧 The Process: Behind the Build
- Frame Setup – A laser-measured steel base defined the basket’s structure.
- Mesh Wiring – Netting was hand-shaped to guide balloon placement and form the 3D dome.
- Balloon Insertion – Using premium Sempertex balloons, each unit was locked into place for lasting durability.
- Final Details – Custom LED signage reading “MADE IN MOSCOW” was seamlessly integrated for visibility and photo moments.
